2018 Holiday Gift List for Your Dog

By Lea Jaratz

papillion with holiday present

It wouldn’t be a proper holiday without a few presents for our dogs. In our family, we buy gifts for our family members’ dogs too. Letting them open them is part of the tradition.

We’ve got a great gift list for the dogs on your shopping list, covering everyone from the femme fashionista to the low-maintenance manly mutts. This year, we’ve compiled some reasonably priced handmade goodies that fit any budget and will be sure to make someone feel special.

Jewelry

This Blue Aura Quartz ($7) dog collar charm is a simple and sparkly accessory for the mystical pup. It has an easy-to-open silver clasp, so it can go on from your dog’s collar to your key chain anytime. It’s perfect for any occasion.

Apparel

I am all about the plaid during the holidays, and so is my dog. I love this orange plaid flannel bandanna ($19.99), perfect for long winter walks with a latte in one hand and a leash in the other. It would pair well with this warm dog sweater-look shirt ($59+)

If your pup looks better in floral prints, take a look at this personalized floral bandana ($12).

Bath & Body

The winter weather can wreak havoc on our dog’s skin and coat, causing chapping, itching, and irritation. Now is the perfect time to stock up on some skin care products that can help make your dog more comfortable when she’s racing through ice and snow.

Even when your dog is just going out for a quick potty break, she’ll appreciate having a quick dab of Paw Wax ($6). This all-natural mixture prevents cracking and softens your pet’s paw pads. There are similar products in stick form if you prefer to keep your fingers product-free.

I also recommend trying a leave-in moisturizing conditioner like this Hydrating Butter ($10.99) this time of year. This extra step actually saves us from a trip to the vet every winter because it keeps my dog from feeling itchy and licking himself raw.

Starkbarks Dog Toy

Toys

I just love the face on this little Matzo Ball squeaky toy ($26). It’s handmade from the super soft minky dot fabric and comes with three in a jar. Cute as can be!

Or, if your dog is more a coffee and a donut dog, check out this personalized Starbarks cup toy ($10+) and these donut dog toys ($11+).

What’s on your dog’s wish list? We hope you’ll share pictures of your dogs opening their gifts this holiday! We look forward seeing the faces of Embraced dogs enjoying the season.
