Background
Shayna had a terribly upset stomach. She had no appetite and bloody diarrhea. Her parents rushed her to the veterinary ER. Shayna was hospitalized for two days with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. While hospitalized she received IV fluids, antibiotics, and around-the-clock nursing and medical care. Shayna also required follow-up care that her Embrace policy covered.
