Background

Heather and her husband had been living in Hong Kong for about a year when they decided to bring a puppy into their home. They did a lot of searching in Asia, Australia, and the United Kingdom, but they couldn't find the dog they wanted. They finally decided to look in the US, and found a breeder in Indiana, Crescentmoon. That's where they found their beautiful American Cocker Spaniel, Lola.

Lola arrived in Hong Kong to the loving laps of her parents safely. Heather was enamored by her black, white and brown fur and her big, brown eyes. Soon after, Heather and her husband were transferred to the US, so Lola flew back to her motherland with her new parents. Just a month after the move, Heather insured Lola with Embrace.

After an RV trip to the east coast, Heather noticed Lola was unwell. She was vomiting, not eating, and had bloody stools, so Heather took her to Beach Veterinary Clinic in Cortez, Florida. The vet took radiographs and noticed that there could be a foreign body in Lola's stomach causing all the problems. Lola was prescribed medication and the vet scheduled a recheck.

4 days later, after fasting for 12 hours, Lola had more radiographs taken. The foreign body was no longer there, meaning that either Lola passed it or it had just been stomach swelling that went down thanks to the medication.
