Cobalt was a happy, healthy pup until one day when his owner noticed a lump forming on his eye. He was taken to the vet immediately, where his pet parent received some shocking news.

Cobalt’s pet parent, Ashley, tells us more:

"I rescued Cobalt from the middle of the Outback in Australia, where I was recently stationed in the military. He was such a happy and relaxed dog from the moment I met him. He was my best companion, so when I noticed his eye becoming irritated, soon followed by a forming lump, I was incredibly distraught.

Luckily, I had recently purchased Embrace Pet Insurance for Cobalt. They covered most of the costs relating to chemotherapy including: ultrasounds, blood tests, specialist consultations, and the chemotherapy itself. They were very understanding and helpful regarding my situation of being stationed overseas. They also processed the claims quickly and efficiently, which really took a weight off my shoulders during this stressful time. Cobalt is now doing very well and acts like a normal dog again. I am extremely grateful for everything they have done for us!"
