Background

Amanda adopted Moses from Indy Great Pyrenees Rescue. The rescue group thought they'd be a perfect fit, and they were right! Right away, Amanda knew that since she had a very large dog, she would probably acquire very large vet bills over his lifetime. She wanted pet insurance to help cover unexpected expenses, so she researched some of the most popular providers. Amanda decided to go with Embrace because the premium was reasonable and because of the excellent customer service and reviews.

Moses loves to go to the dog park to run and play with all the dogs- no matter the shape, size, or personality. One day, when Amanda and Moses arrived at the dog park, there was the normal frenzy of activity that occurs when a new dog arrives, but it soon escalated into an altercation and Moses was bitten.

Amanda noticed a gaping wound in his side and took him to Avon Veterinary Clinic in Avon, Indiana for emergency attention. The vet treated Moses for a 5 centimeter laceration that went all the way through the subcutaneous layer to the first layer of muscle. He was stitched up nicely, but because he wouldn't leave the sutures alone, Moses was put in the "Cone of Shame" while he was healing.

Amanda says:

"Moses is fine now - while I am more cautious when we're at the dog park, he is still his big, gentle self and doesn't seem to hold any grudges or feel any fear about being there. I'm relieved to know that Embrace covered what I expected to be covered, and my claim was processed much more quickly than I thought possible! Great job, Embrace!"
