EmbraceCLE Community Challenge: All You Need to Know

How does it work?

Embrace Pet Insurance presents the EmbraceCLE Community Challenge, a community fundraising competition where select local charities compete to raise the most money for their non-profit. In addition to keeping any money raised for their charity, the top teams will walk away with cash prizes from Embrace Pet Insurance. Participating Cleveland charities will compete for $50,000 in prizes and bonus challenges to help further their missions.

The program will launch on Tuesday, September 1st at 12pm ET and runs through September 30th at 11:59:59 pm ET.

What do the organizations win?

The charity that raises the most during the challenge wins a $20,000 donation to their cause.

Second place gets $10,000

Third place gets $6,500

Fourth place:$3,500

Plus, there will be weekly bonus challenges in which charities can win another $10,000. 

The best part: even if a charity doesn't win any of the grand prize money, they still get to keep the money raised during the campaign!

Bonus Challenges

Check back every Monday for our weekly bonus challenges! These challenges will give organizations a shot at winning an additional $10,000.

Bonus Challenge #1

Our first bonus challenge will take place from September 7th- 13th. Every organization that raises at least $250 this week will get entered for a chance to win $500. There will be 6 winners selected at random.

Bonus Challenge #2

The second bonus challenge will take place from September 14th- 20th. Every organization that gets at least 5 donations this week will get entered for a chance to win a $1,000. There will be 4 winners selected at random.


  • Fostering Hope
  • Friend of City Dogs Cleveland
  • Multiple Breed Rescue
  • Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary 

Bonus Challenge #3

The final bonus challenge will take place from September 21st – September 27th. Every organization to raise $1,000 this week will be entered for a chance to win $1,000. Three organizations will be selected at random.
