Common Policy Questions

How do I add or remove a pet from my policy?

You can add pets through your MyEmbrace customer account and the Embrace Pet Insurance app. To remove a pet from your policy, please contact us.

How do I update my address?

You can update your address in your MyEmbrace customer account (online or in the Embrace Pet Insurance app) or by contacting us.

Please note that a change of address may affect your policy premium. Once your change of address is complete, new policy documents will be emailed to you.

How do I cancel my policy?

You can notify us that you would like to cancel by phone at (800) 511-9172 (Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8 pm and Saturday 9 am-1 pm ET). You can also e-mail your cancellation request to: hello@embracepetinsurance.com

How do I update my billing information?

MyEmbrace (desktop or mobile): Your billing information can be updated by selecting My Payment Settings in the Quick Links section on the main screen.

Embrace Pet Insurance app: Your billing information can be updated by selecting PAYMENTS on the main screen.

Update from credit card to bank account: If you need to change from a bank account to a credit card or vice versa, please contact us.

Can I update my pet's coverage?

Reducing Coverage:
You can reduce coverage at any time via your MyEmbrace customer account online or in the Embrace Pet Insurance app. You can also contact us for options.

Increasing Coverage:
Increasing coverage means you will be subject to re-underwriting and the waiting periods will reset. Any illnesses or conditions that occurred prior to the increase in coverage, will be considered a pre-existing condition. To increase coverage please contact us
