Deciduous Tooth Extraction
Boston Terrier has baby tooth pulled
Embrace Reimbursed: $367.04
Location: Avon, Conn.
Date: September 2009
Background
In April 2009, Corinne's Boston Terrier, Sparky, passed away. Her vet's assistant immediately took her to find a new Boston Terrier puppy so she wouldn't have to be alone. That's when Corinne met and fell in love with Petunia. After Petunia's first check-up at Canton Animal Hospital in Connecticut, Corinne insured Petunia with Embrace at her vet's recommendation.
Petunia's vet kept an eye on her baby teeth since they don't always come in perfectly in Boston Terrier puppies. Petunia had a vertically cracked canine baby tooth and half of it fell out. The adult canine tooth didn't push it out as hoped, so the vet had to remove the deciduous tooth. Petunia recovered completely with no complications.
Petunia's Policy
Petunia's Policy includes Drug and Dental Illness, so the extraction of her tooth was covered by Embrace.

Reflections
Corinne says:
Petunia has seemed to settle down and is happy and healthy (and I hope I did not just jinx her). She is sweet natured, loves everybody, and is wonderful company for me.
