If you are located in any other state, Embrace has created separate Dental Rewards and prescription drug plans. What does the drug & dental plan cover?
The drug & dental plan is like prescription benefits and dental rolled into one. The coverage includes:
- Take-home drugs prescribed by a veterinarian including antibiotics, pain relief, allergy meds, insulin & supplies, eye & ear drops, and more
- Dental illnesses including gingivitis, periodontal disease, oral abscesses, cavities, feline resorptive lesions, and extractions & cleanings when treating illness
You can also add the optional Wellness Rewards to cover regular dental cleanings.
Which pets are eligible for drug & dental coverage with Embrace?
Any pet that is eligible for Embrace's full coverage plan can add the drug & dental plan.
Does drug & dental cost extra?
Yes, it does cost a little extra. If you purchase a policy online this option is not selected so you must manually choose if you want this coverage.
Is there a deductible or co-pay?
Yes, your drug and dental costs add to your other accident and illness costs and the total is considered against your annual deductible and per-visit co-pay.
What is not covered?
The drug & dental plan does not cover supplements, vitamins, or food, nor orthodontic treatments.
