Territory Outreach Representative
Start date: March 2014
What is your background?
I studied as an Animal Science major at University of Massachusetts (Amherst) from 2008-2010 then moved to Florida and completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences at University of South Florida (Tampa) in 2012. I have worked as a Technician and Pet Sitter in several animal hospitals and eventually decided I wanted to help clients be able to afford their pet's healthcare in case of accidents or illness.
Do you have any pets currently?
All of my pets are currently residing with family members in Florida and in Puerto Rico. These pets include a Dachshund named Bailey, a Min Pin named Roxy, an Italian Greyhuahua named Brando, and a Yorkie named Candy.
What is your favorite pet-related memory?
All my pets have always been great, but Kahlua, a Dachshund, was unique. She was a tennis ball addict! She used to eat, sleep, and walk around with her tennis ball. Kahlua could smell tennis balls that were sitting on shelves or hidden in boxes that we were unaware of. She even learned to throw her ball under the sofa so we would get it for her! Unfortunately, she passed away in October 2103, but I know she is in a better place.
What’s your favorite thing about Embrace?
The employees at Embrace Pet Insurance truly care for clients and their pets. They are friendly, helpful, and devoted to their jobs. I am excited to be a part of this amazing team!
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing (salsa, ballet, jazz, etc.), reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
What is your favorite quote?
“Eventually all the pieces fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason." - Carrie Bradshaw
Anything else we should know about you?
I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
