Regional Outreach Manager
Start date: February 2012
What is your background?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Technology from the University of Rhode Island (Go Rhody!).
Prior to joining Embrace I was able to gain experience both in the primary care small animal practice setting as a Veterinary Assistant and then held multiple roles at a specialty referral practice. This experience helped me to see firsthand the benefit pet parents with pet insurance had when faced with an unexpected accident or illness requiring veterinary care.
Do you have any pets currently?
Boulder – Black Labrador
What is your favorite pet-related memory?
Aaah, there are so many! Coming home to a wagging tail always brings a smile to my face. Boulder though, seems to have mastered a unique way of creating mischief. This sparks a different, more childish smile in me. One time, while my husband was installing a dishwasher at the house, Boulder felt that it was only appropriate if he supervised this mission. I watched quietly as Boulder snuck up and ever so gently pulled a nearby hammer with his paw until it was in reach of his mouth to then swoop down and steal the hammer. Little did he know I was right behind him with the camera to catch him in the act!
What’s your favorite thing about Embrace?
Embrace has strong core values that set a great example and standard in the workplace as well as life!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I am an avid sports fan and love football season! What’s better than watching football? – Lots of food to snack on. Cooking is another passion of mine so naturally I love to wine and dine friends. My husband and I are always looking for our next adventure and it’s even better if we can bring Boulder along!
