Embrace's Open and Honest Culture
Have you ever bought a product or service from a company only to be tripped up by the small print later?
Recently an Embracer wanted to trial a piece of software online. To download the trial you had to enter your credit card details. A few days later a charge for $499.99 appeared on the credit card! But the Embracer hadn't authorized this charge or even agreed to purchase anything, it was supposed to be a trial. Small print was to blame.
If this kind of experience drives you nuts then you'll understand why we strive to be open, honest, and fair, even if that means you don't choose us for your pet insurance.
Culture Starts at the Top
The culture of a company comes from its leadership. You could say that Culture is the shadow of the leader. Just look at companies such as Mary Kay, Ben & Jerry’s, and The Body Shop. Customers know what these companies are about and what they stand for.
Laura Bennett, our CEO and co-founder, sets the tone at Embrace on a daily basis. Laura writes the only pet insurance blog. She discusses details about all the pet insurance products on the market, in-depth claims case studies, and throws in stories about her cats, Barnes and Lily. Laura talks in a frank and open way about pet insurance.
Our Website
When we first started looking at pet insurance, we spent hours and hours learning and trying to understand every aspect of it. And as pet parents, if we wanted to know everything there was to know, then we figured you would too.
Our website contains all the facts, figures, and helpful information you'd expect about pet insurance. You might not read it all at once, or even some pages at all, but it's there to help you make an informed choice. Sometimes that means you'll pick some other company's policy and that's okay by us if you believe it's the right thing for you and your pet.
We Welcome Feedback – Really!
Everyone knows that you learn the most from your mistakes. That's why we're open and upfront about listening to your feedback. Maybe it's something we messed up or didn't explain well enough. Or perhaps you think we did a good job and just wanted to let us know.
What we're trying to say is, we want to hear from you - really. You can contact us and an actual person will get back in touch with you.
