Our Claims Process
The Embrace claims process is simple and easy. You want to get your claim check as quickly as possible so we have designed a process to keep to a minimum both the amount of paperwork and your time.
Yes, there is a form but it's painless to fill in and you can fax it to our toll-free 800 number directly from your veterinarian's office when you pay your bill. How easy is that?
Figuring Out Your Reimbursement
Some of the established pet insurance companies use benefit schedules to keep in check the amount of claims they pay out. The benefit schedule does not increase over time so if you have to use an emergency clinic, for exmaple, then the amount you get back can be far, far less than the actual cost of your visit.
Embrace uses current usual, customary, and reasonable (UCR) charges based on your location and type of facility so that your claim reimbursement is based on what you actually paid your veterinarian. You can read more about how claims are reimbursed.
Pre-certify If You're in Doubt
We don't want you to worry about how much you'll get back or whether something is covered.
We give you peace of mind because you can send your claim in before your veterinarian carries out any treatment as part of Embrace's pre-certification process.
Not only will we tell you approximately how much you would expect back but when your claim does come in it can be processed more quickly.
